I started to get some notifications through that there were some marriages going on in the Penn family. So I thought I would do a breakdown of what’s been going on.

So Emilia had a baby with Channing Penn.

His Dad is Gideon Penn, who is now married to someone called Keri. Turns out she is the daughter of Akira and Morgan Fyres, who has a sister married to Hugo Villareal, called Rachelle.

Akira also had two children with Siobhan Kibo, formally Siobhan Fyres, the sister of Morgan. Which means he had children with two sisters! One of the children was Emilia’s friend Fatima, now married to Nobuya Sakamoto, and Abram Kibo.

Channing’s sister (remember her?) has married Wesley Lobo, the son of Diego Lobo. Wesley is very sad at the moment, could that be because his father has passed?

Also one of the Penn brothers is married to a girl called Janelle who appears to be heavily pregnant.

Yup, looks like Janelle is in labour.

The brothers were upstairs taking selfie’s together. Here’s Channing with his new wife, who’s name I appear to have forgotten to take note of.

I appear to have some weird glitch with Sims in labour. Janelle was in labour when Emilia visited the lot, but wouldn’t have the baby. So baby baskets just kept repeatedly spawning everywhere.

The longer she stayed in one place, the more appeared.

I thought Emilia better leave so poor Janelle could have her baby in peace!

Viv is missing Akira. Aren’t we all?! *sigh*

Sorry Ray. Off he toddles with his legs crossed for school.

Viv suddenly seems either happy about something, or exasperated.

Hey! When did that happen?

Viv’s bedroom has never really had a good makeover. Now she’s top of the critic career, she pulls in some good money each day. I think we can glam up her room a little.

So everything in there was sold.

And TA-DAH! This is what I came up with……

Ray went outside to chat to his Mum. I really need to get Ray to choose an umbrella.

Lak met a friend, they had a little chat and then the friend went running into the house. Pregnant Sims sure do walk funny.

Emilia doesn’t look to happy to be in the rain.

Ahhh that’s where they got to.

Emilia looks like she’s making everything worse, but she really was fixing it. Not smashing it up with the hammer.

 

I didn’t want to put my Christmas build up without testing it first. So off Viv went whilst she was working from home to try it out. My first mistake was that I’d listed it as a generic lot, so no one came to tend the cafe.

Here’s a little shot of Viv inside getting her recommended drink.

Off she goes to do a little ice skating.

As it turns out, she completely over exerted herself, and any more tiring activites could have some really nasty consequences. Since I didn’t want to kill Viv off on the ice, I let her sit down for a bit.

And then something really sad happened. We got notification that Akira had died 😦

Viv decided to visit Akira’s apartment to see whether she could find his urn. Maybe we could take it home and have him stay with us.

But it didn’t appear to be anywhere in the apartment. I wonder where he might be

On a side note, I took a screenshot of this the other day because it made me giggle and forgot to share it……poor Ray! :’D

I’ve been really excited since I got Seasons, and with it getting closer to Christmas. Christmas is my favourite holiday, and I love anything to do with decorating. I wanted to build a specific Christmas holiday themed area to send my Sims.

So here is Festive Frost Park and Cafe…….

There is a small cafe in the corner, with outdoor seating and heaters.

I created lots of small borders around the area with sculptures and plants. I wanted it to be an area that Sims could walk around, whilst they had a hot chocolate, get cosied up together outside the cafe, or had fun whilst playing on the ice.

Inside the toilet block was an unused space which I put a window in and placed sparkly trees, as a little indoor decoration.

As yet I haven’t put this up on the gallery for download, but I will. I know my builds are not as elaborate as some people’s. My big thing is the decorating. I love the decorating side of things. I would happily sit and decorate other people’s builds. I think what some people create is really clever and amazing, I can’t always use my brain in that way to create complex builds.

Sometimes I do try and take the time to create something new. Now we have terrain again, I have a few ideas from previous games that I might want to try and recreate.

I really enjoyed creating this little Winter Wonderland, now I just want the snow to make it pretty!

I love how Akira has pretty much been a constant throughout Viv’s life. Viv went out to meet up with him, try and complete some work from home tasks, and also meet some new people. She had to try three different flavours of bubbles. Akira was happy to help out.

Akira’s actually got a pretty good voice.

I wanted Viv and Akira to do a duet (Viv, not such a great singer), but he decided to walk off after this.

So she stuck around to sing with someone else. Whilst also really needing a shower.

Viv meets Araceli Mori, could this be a potential partner for Ray? She’s extremely pretty. And trendy too!

Because the best spot to do your homework is in a dimly lit bedroom, whilst your Mum/Grandmother is asleep.

I had to include this pic because of the look of disdain on Emilia’s face. I’m not sure what Viv said to her.

I was struggling a bit with the work from home tasks. Sometimes they just wouldn’t register as completed. Emilia had the task of checking in at a gym or park, so I sent her to the gym I built. But there didn’t appear to be an option for checking in. I sen her to another gym, but it didn’t work there either.

Last resort I sent her to a park. There was a thunderstorm happening, so I needed her to get inside so she wouldn’t get struck by lightening. The check-in wouldn’t work here either so I cut my losses and sent her home.

Viv’s birthday party was this evening.

Viv blew out her candles. I feel sad that she’s getting older.

And straight away, ouch

Oooh poor Viv and her back. She doesn’t look very happy.

And where’s all the food? Lot’s of unmade food left in the kitchen. Why is the cooker on fire….again?!

Viv didn’t make it to the toilet in time. Although she was stood in front of it when she pee’d herself. Maybe she could have sat down and done it instead?

Since Viv is the handiest, she fixed the cooker. Whilst Ray passed out on the floor.

And then it was poor Viv’s turn. What a place to fall, right next to the junk. Whoopsie. Let’s get you to bed Viv, it’s been a hectic birthday for you.

The Hijinks festival was in town so Emilia decided to ask Baby on a date.

He seemed excited to be asked to be her boyfriend.

Emilia tried to get Baby to sit down and chat, but he kept running off.

So she went to buy a festival t-shirt instead.

He did come back for a little woohoo action though.

Viv decided to eat outside, amongst the pretty fall lights.

Ray and Lak decided to join her.

Ray had a whim to rake some leaves, so I obliged.

Fall crafts for Lak. I have to admit that I didn’t have all the skills from Emilia and Channing to use the trait generator. So I decided to choose a trait that made sense. Everyone on the family has the cheerful trait, so I chose that and also the Artistic Prodigy aspiration. I’ll have to note down Channing’s traits for when she ages up to a teen.

Speak of the devil. Looks who’s lurking outside. He just stood there for a while, and then left.

I like it when the family all sit down together. It’s even better when I haven’t personally facilitated it and they’ve done it automatically.

I can’t remember why I got these two to dance, but Ray does look funny. I think Emilia needed to have some fun.

Ray suddenly remembered it was Sunday, and he better do his homework before school tomorrow.

Now I have Seasons, I was able to set up birthday’s in the calendar so I wouldn’t forget to have parties. I don’t like it when my Sims get sad from a forgotten birthday. This evening is Lak’s birthday party. Emilia got changed into some new party clothes and took Lak downstairs so we could blow out some candles.

But what are those pretty lights in the garden? Emilia goes to investigate.

Oh shit, yeah there’s something weird going on.

Emilia does not look too happy about this.

Emilia ended up missing Lak’s birthday because she was being probed by aliens So Ray had to help her blow out the candles. At least her Dad showed up.

And here she is. Interesting choice of clothes, Lak, hat and knee boots with a strappy cami top.

Lak was really tired, but she was going to go to sleep in Ray’s bed, so her room got a makeover.

Emilia had invited Baby, so I wanted them to work on their relationship.

And here’s a closer look at Lak as a child. Her cheekbones are definitely pronounced. I had to change her clothes up and give her a new hairstyle.

Argh, the gnomes are still here, being creepy in the living room. So many packets of seeds!

Viv went outside to send a book to the publishers, and of course she took her breakfast with her. And finished it off whilst standing in the rain.

And then she left the plate on the floor.

All day I’d been battling with the work from home tasks. Emilia had to do two hours of sketching, but no matter how many times I got her to do a painting (her inventory is filled with paintings, she’s really getting very arty), it wouldn’t log her as doing the task. I was nearly ripping my hair out. And eventually had to give up.

You can’t turn your back for one minute!

With so many seed packets laying around, maybe someone in the house would like to plant them.

The family worked out how to put up decorations, it took them long enough. And Ray had to do a lot of rummaging.

Akira came for a visit, didn’t help with the decorations.

In fact, we had quite a few visitors.

We have fall decorations up……

Ray gets to planting some seeds.

And has a little chat to the scarecrow.

Hopefully the work from home tasks will get sorted soon. I’m having to send my Sims to work, just to make sure they can get their promotion. And get paid! We’ve lost out on a few pay packets. Which isn’t very helpful.
