My game liked to remind me that Shingo didn’t have very long left, and would soon be getting a visit from Mr Reaper. I thought that Viv should get as much time with him as possible, before this happened. So I’d been trying to get Viv and Shingo to do as many romantic and fun interactions as possible.

I sent them out to have some fun at karaoke. Shingo was really going for it, well he does enjoy singing in the shower.

When they got home, Ray decided to throw a tantrum

And then farted, just to make clear his disdain.

Then it happened, just after Shingo had finished in the shower.

Viv pleaded, but to no avail.

And Shingo’s ashes were placed in the dining room. He did enjoy his food and eating in there.

R.I.P Shingo. You were a good husband, step-father and father.

Dad, I’m trying to do my homework;

Emilia just randomly started teaching Ray how to talk.

And here she is putting him to bed. To say she wasn’t very pleased when she first saw her brother, this is good progress.

Now because Emilia has actually bred out the ugly, I wondered what I could do to carry on the story. So I thought I’d make another Ugly family to make a potential partner for Emilia as she gets older.

So here we have, the Penn family;

This is Beth. The only thing I changed after these photos was that I made her hair a little darker. I didn’t realise that I forgot to get a photo of the Dad.

But I created three teen boys, and a teen girl. Just to add something unusual into the mix. They were all created by genetics of the Mother and Father, and I kept randomising till they looked really odd. I also randomly generated all the names;

I moved the Penn family into Oakenstead in Willow Creek, as they needed a big house since there was so many of them. They’d only been moved in less then a day and I got notification that both the parents had got remarried. Oops, I forgot to put their relationship as married. Oh well, I suppose it looks like they got divorced or separated. Turns out both parents had moved out. I then got notifications that all the boys had got someone pregnant. Well they didn’t waste any time. I really need to check my MCCC settings again. I think maybe teen pregnancy is a little much, maybe just stick to young adult and adult. Unless I turn teen pregnancy rate down really low. I mean, teen’s do get pregnant in the real world, but it’s starting to get a little excessive.

So I sent Emilia round to Oakenstead to meet the new family. Here they are all chilling out in the living room. This house is pretty gorgeous, the family? Not so much.

I settled on Channing being the most strange looking out of the brothers, so I get Emilia to make a move on him. They seem to get on very well.

Emilia had some needs she needed fulfilling, so I send her home and invite Channing to come too. He ends up staying the night.

She asks Channing if he’d be her boyfriend.

They seem to be really comfortable around each other.

Yup, really comfortable.

At this point I’m unsure whether I want Emilia to have children with Channing, maybe she’ll meet someone else. But she’s still a teen so there’s plenty of time. Meanwhile there’s going to be some very interesting babies popping up around the town.

 

Viv is looking huge at the third trimester

When Shingo and Viv woke up, Viv went into labour and also looked like this. I’m not sure you’re meant to reach in and try and get the baby out yourself through your tummy Viv!

She needed to pee so bad she wet herself (this seems to happen to Viv A LOT) but it could be mistaken for her waters breaking 😀

So I fulfilled a few needs and contemplated whether to go to the hospital or not. I eventually decided on a hospital birth. Shingo did the regular Dad freak out. Viv handled it like a complete pro, and just went straight in.

Shingo after freaking just started to walk off, and I realised he was off to work. I left him to it as Viv didn’t seem too concerned.

Was trying to get a pic of what was on the screen that the Dr is looking at. It was a flashing baby basket.

And we have a baby. It’s a boy!

Welcome to the family Ray Milligan (randomly generated first name). He looks a little unsure right now 🙂

Ray disappears and Viv gets out the tea she had hiding in her pocket, and then suddenly gets all flirty. Crikey, calm down Viv love, you’ve just given birth. I know the Dr is hot, but steady on! I think Viv is lining up her next potential husband haha 😀

All my Sims have just been doing their thing over the last few Sims day’s. Emilia is getting closer to her birthday and pretty much the big reveal as to whether we’ve bred out the ugly in one generation. It’s actually looking hopeful, she was a pretty good looking child.

Shingo I got him a job in the business career. Why not earn a little cash and give him something to do. Viv’s been moving up nicely in her Critic career. I’ve mostly been working from home with her, which I actually really like as it gives you some tasks to do and a bit of a purpose for the day.

Emilia is an A student. She’s been doing great on all her homework and extra credit. She Also got her creativity to Level 6 and her other skills aren’t too far behind. This was her making friends with the monster under the bed. But what a massive pain it is. It comes every night and then gets her so energised, she can’t sleep. She’s been coming home from school exhausted.

Viv eating spoiled food again. I just left her to it, she ate the whole thing and nothing happened to her.

Viv taking a nap. Shingo took a nap in the same spot the other day. I think the house is quite large so this area and the lounge are quite common places to find Sims, even one’s that don’t live here, napping.

 

I thought this was quite nice. Shingo and Viv eating dinner and Emilia doing her homework. I like it how my Sims really use this table and room. Sometimes it’s a bit annoying when they all go off with food to other rooms, and don’t use the most obvious place for actually eating, the dining table. Also it gives them time to socialise as well.

As I was playing I got a pregnancy notification. Siobhan Kibo and Brant Hacking having a baby?! But what about Brent and what about Akira? Honestly I think I need to look at my MCCC settings because that girl has been knocked up about five times all by different men. Also, I have my setting so that only heterosexual couples can become pregnant, but same sex couples can adopt. But I keep getting notifications that same sex couples are having babies together, mostly when it’s two women. I think I must be missing something somewhere

I hadn’t been in this house before and I realised it was in need of a little redecoration. I’ll post some before and after photos.

I just realised when I took these photos I still had the night setting on. I never thought about it when I was doing the redecorating, of course! 😀

I don’t appear to have before photos of the downstairs bathroom or back hall, but here is the after photo. The bookcase and ottoman were already there, I just changed the flooring and wallpaper and added a bit of fluff. The bathroom sink stayed the same, I just changed the colour of the units, changed the toilet and shower and gave it some new wallpaper and flooring;

Upstairs I repeated the wall coverings and flooring the same as downstairs, took out the excessive floor runners and changed the lighting. I also added the easel and moved the desk and chair from one of the bedrooms, changed their colour and placed them and a computer in the nook area.

I then realised that my money was running out, and that I wasn’t going to have enough to finish all four bedrooms and another bathroom. So I decided I’d wait and build up a bit more cash before doing the stuff needed upstairs.

I decided to give Viv a little make over since I was getting a little bored of some of her outfits.

Here’s her new everyday outfit, I wanted her to look a bit more comfortable.

Viv invited Shingo round to tell him the pregnancy news, and he’s really pleased. This will be his first child.

He then walks in on Emilia on the toilet, and no one’s happy about that.

I get Viv to propose to Shingo as he’s not getting any younger and I don’t want him to pop his clogs without them getting some time together at least.

Since Viv didn’t have a proper wedding event when she married Jayce, I think it would be nice for her and Shingo to have something special.

I chose Myshuno Meadows park for the ceremony. It looks really pretty.

I couldn’t remember whether Viv would have a wedding dress so I decided to go change her formal attire into something better.

I really didn’t want her going to her wedding in this 😀

And a new outfit for Emilia too.

Viv was put in a wedding dress, but I decided to change it as I preferred the formal dress I’d chosen for her. Plus it was her second wedding, I think she wanted something a little different.

And who should come in for a chat whilst she’s getting ready, but Jayce. Wonder what he has to say, maybe he’s wishing her luck.

So once Viv was ready I had to try and get her to the arch, along with Shingo so they could get married. This was proving more difficult than I thought. I kept clicking on the arch, but it would tell me that my spouse wasn’t there. Then when I managed to get Shingo to the arch, Viv started to walk off. Then when trying to get her back, Shingo would leave again, and it would say he wasn’t there.

Finally after half the event has gone, I manage to get them both to the arch to get married.

If you look to the right behind Shingo’s head, that’s Jade Rosa who seems to have got changed into a towel for the ceremony 😀

I don’t know why Arun is making that face. I do like his suit though.

After the ceremony everyone runs off back inside. Viv is REALLY hungry, but where is all the food. And where is the chef?

Viv is chatting to Akira, and I notice he’s really angry. I just miss out on his interaction with Siobhan. She must have flirted with someone else and he’s not happy about it. Here he’s just had words

Viv has to get a kiss from Shingo but I can’t find him anywhere. Finally I find him in a corner upstairs, and they get their kiss. Also I realise that Emilia hasn’t even met her new step-dad yet. Not properly anyway.

The event is nearly ending so I get Viv to go and set off the fireworks. So pretty!

Even though the chef never made a wedding cake, and seemed to only be able to make fruit & yoghurt parfait. We managed to finish with a silver event. So to me that’s pretty successful.

Of course when the wedding finished it asked me whether we wanted to merge households. Viv’s flat was going to be way too cramped for four when the new baby comes, but I hadn’t seen where Shingo lived. At first I thought he might not be placed in the world, but it said he lived in Willow Creek. All of the houses in Willow Creek, even the small one’s are going to be bigger than Viv’s apartment. And I could always add another room if I needed. So I took a chance and moved Viv and Emilia in with Shingo.

Viv decided to help herself to spoiled food from the fridge, she also keeps eating it even though she makes a disgusting face at it. It doesn’t seem to effect her either, she doesn’t get any negative effects from it. Maybe because I don’t let her finish the whole plate.

I really want to get Viv to meet someone new. So I decide to send her out to see if she can meet some new people. I don’t think there are many singles around San Myshuno, so I send her to the ‘Pastel Lounge’ I built in Newcrest.

It seems like all the patrons coming in are elders. At first I was a little put off, but then I thought that actually Viv cosying up to an elder might actually be a good idea. They’re usually more solvent, maybe have been married and are now single. They may actually be a good prospect. Viv gets chatting to Shingo Tanaka, who I think looks quite handsome for and elder and things seem to go really well. There’s even a little flirting. Viv finds out that Shingo is a bro and he’s good…..he’s also single!

Shingo goes home because he’s tired. I get Viv to send him a love email, and then a flirty text. He’s texts to see if she wants to go out, so they meet for drinks.

Look who’s at the bar, is that Cassandra Goth? And she’s pregnant! A quick check of MCCC and I find out that she’s now Cassandra Al Habib and is pregnant with her second child. She has a very neat bump.

Shingo does a disappearing act but I get him to travel home with Viv. They have their first kiss

Emilia is really happy about the fact she’s getting a little brother or sister.

Careful Emilia, you’ll melt the computer.

 

Viv will literally eat anything. I didn’t even see where she got this, it just appeared in her hand. She must have been hiding it up her jumper all night.

Of course Akira stayed over again. Here he is making his breakfast. It isn’t going so well. Something tells me he doesn’t have many skills in the kitchen.

Today is the last day of being a toddler for Emilia. Potty training is the last skill I need to get to level 3, and I’m determined to do it. I just keep sitting her on the potty till she’s levelled up. Sorry Emilia, but needs must. You’ll thank me later, when you know how to use a toilet properly.

I can’t let Emilia’s birthday go by without a party. So I buy a keyboard and hire an entertainer. Who shows up looking a little peaky. Wonder what his deal is? Not sure I really needed a caterer, and I really didn’t need to add Akira as a guest, since he’s always bloody here.

As Viv goes to get Emilia to help her blow out the candles, ghosty decides to see what Akira is up to. Akira doesn’t seem too bothered that there’s a ghost floating right next to him and standing partly in the table. He’s also still lounging about in his PJ’s.

WOO! Par-tay!

And here’s Emilia as a child. She looks pretty, well…..normal. Head looks a little slimmer like Viv’s and her eyes possibly look like Jayce’s, or even Viv’s it’s hard to tell. She doesn’t seem to have a strange nose or chin, and no monobrow as yet. Could I have bred the ugly out in one generation?

I did some changes to her outfits. But left everything else and her hairstyle. She rolled the Cheerful trait and the Artistic Prodigy aspiration. So I buy her an art/craft table for her room.

She ages up quite moodily, and decides to take it out on kitty. Don’t know what that poor guy ever does to deserve all the flack he gets. I’ll be posting in BOTU – Part 3 for updates of Emilia as a child.
